All Around the Island

Happy New Year!!!!

It has been a long time since I wrote anything here but as I am going through the 2022 wedding photos to update the page I realized we were really at a lot of places on the island last year.

From San Juan, Vieques, Fajardo, Rio Grande, Loiza, Rincon, Cabo Rojo and Guayanilla just to name of few.

We did hotel weddings, VRBOS, AirBNB, tents, restaurants and the list keeps going.

Weddings were as intimate as 2 and as grand as 180.

I love that we can assist our clients in creating an experience for themselves and their guests.

1/57 MASTER WEDDING PLANNERS IN THE WORLD

Did you know that Sari Skalnik is one of 57 Master Wedding Planners in the World and the only one in Puerto Rico.

She earned her designation through the Association of Bridal Consultants (www.bridalassn.com), in November 2013 at their Annual Conference in West Palm Beach Florida.

She was one of 16 planners to apply for the designation and only 8 planners earned the title that year.

Stay tuned to hear more about what the process was to earn this title.

POST HURRICANE MARIA - PLANNING YOUR WEDDING

Things on our beautiful island are improving daily.

Many of the hotels and venue's are open and fully operational.

For more updates check out the Puerto Rico Tourism Company's web page www.seepuertorico.com.

Here at Tropical Weddings we are open for business.

We have internet (when the generator is on) and are working hard on all of your wedding needs.  We are making weekly trips to venue's and taking what we like to call "proof of venue" photos so that you can see what they look like.

Many of the hotels on the island have taken advantage of the storm and are doing complete remodels.  What does that mean for you?  If you are planning your wedding for 2018 or 2019 you will be having your wedding at (basically) a brand new hotel.

Looking forward to planning your wedding.

All the best,

Sari and John
